Tamara R. Buckley

Dr. Tamara R. Buckley is a Senior DEI Consultant at Paradox Strategies.

Dr. Buckley is a professor of psychology, consultant, and coach who works with executives and senior management to help them achieve their strategic goals, with an emphasis on interpersonal effectiveness and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Dr. Buckley holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Columbia University, an M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley.

Dr. Buckley co-authored a book, “The Color Bind: Talking and (Not talking) about race at work” in 2014, in which they lay out a framework for talking about race and culture in the workplace.  She has close to a dozen publications in a variety of organizational and psychology journals.

Dr. Buckley collaboratively works with executives to broaden their capacity to lead across differences, including race, culture, gender, sexuality, or other markers of differences to equip them to lead broad organization development efforts related to DEI.
