The groundbreaking ideas from Collective Genius in Dr. Hill's popular TED Talk, spread around the world which has had more than 2.6 million views since she presented it in September of 2014.

The Collective Genius authors studied some of the world's most creative companies to come up with a set of tools to keep great ideas flowing -- from everyone in the company, not just the designated "creatives."

A culture ripe for innovation is one in which there is a common sense of purpose, shared values and rules of engagement designed to encourage collaboration, discovery-driven learning, and integrative decision making.

To create an environment of innovation, leaders and their teams must master creative abrasion (the ability to generate a marketplace of diverse ideas through discourse and debate), creative agility (the ability to evolve through iterative experimentation), and creative resolution (the ability to make integrative decisions).

Leaders develop a robust process that inspires action, nourishes creativity, builds capability, and helps establish a culture where innovation can flourish.

The Collective Genius simulation is perfect for any leader who has responsibility for a team or initiative that requires an ability to meet or exceed performance expectations.

Collective Genius can be virtually facilitated in one 4 - to 5-hour session or two 2-hour sessions with a 1-2 week break in between.

The in-person simulation is a full day from 9-12 and 1-4 (or 7 hours including a 1-hour break).

It begins with a self-assessment to provide insight and comparative points.

Then, a web-based, facilitator-led discovery session helps members of a cohort embrace new mindsets and build muscle for leading innovation.

Next, a team-based, competitive digital (or in-person) simulation transports players through 6 realistic situations that test their decision-making skills.

Finally, participants launch their own individual journeys powered by an implementation guide and 9 tools they can use with their teams to reinforce the 6 most important principles from Dr. Hill’s research.
