Sara Hess is a consultant at Paradox Strategies.
Sara began her career as an international cost-of-living analyst at Associates for International Research Incorporated (AIRINC). In this role, she traveled to more than 30 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America, working on behalf of AIRINC’s Fortune 500 clients. Drawing on her international experience, she went on to become a research associate at Harvard Business School where she focused on emerging market business strategy and corporate ethics.
Sara has worked as a consultant for a variety of companies and organizations including: Demeter Entrepreneurship Network, a global network to support entrepreneurs in low-income countries; Song Saa Resort, a Cambodia-based eco-resort; and the World Bank. At the World Bank, she worked in the Trade & Competitiveness Group on private sector development projects in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Sara graduated with a bachelor’s in economics from Wellesley College and a master’s in urban planning with a focus on international development from MIT.
